Caylin Louis Moore is a doctoral student in Stanford's sociology department and a Ford Foundation Fellow. He is broadly interested in policy, social control, crime and policing, gentrification, and social networks.
Caylin (pronounced Ky-Lin) holds an M.Sc. in Latin American Studies from the University of Oxford, where he was a 2017 Rhodes Scholar. He received his B.S. in Economics from Texas Christian University in 2017. He is the author of A Dream Too Big: The Story of An Improbable Journey from Compton to Oxford. Before Stanford, he taught economics and civics at a high school in East Palo Alto, CA.
